Malaria Consortium is seeking a Senior HR Officer - Resourcing to support recruitment and HR operations in its Nigeria office. This role will assist the People & Culture team in managing recruitment processes, onboarding, and HR administration to ensure programmes are staffed efficiently.
🧾 Job Description
The Senior HR Officer – Resourcing will provide administrative and operational support to the People & Culture Manager, ensuring efficient recruitment, contracting, and HR processes for national staff. The role focuses on maintaining high recruitment standards, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting HR administrative functions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment (60%)

Support managers in drafting high-quality job descriptions aligned with organizational roles.

Guide managers through procedures for approving new vacancies.

Advertise job openings on the Malaria Consortium website, job boards, and social media platforms.

Review applications and create longlists based on job requirements.

Support recruiting managers in developing interview questions and selection tests.

Coordinate interviews and selection tests with candidates and interview panels.

Provide application status updates and feedback to candidates.

Maintain recruitment documentation including job descriptions, interview tools, and candidate records.

Ensure recruitment processes comply with organizational policies.

Maintain recruitment data and update the recruitment tracker regularly.

Request and verify references for shortlisted candidates.

Collect and process onboarding documentation for new employees.

Support HR initiatives and projects by collecting necessary information.

Maintain performance management documentation such as staff objectives, probation reviews, and appraisals.

Assist with training administration and learning & development activities.

Coordinate employee exit processes and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
-
Certificate or qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline

Minimum of 3 years experience in HR or administrative roles

Experience in record keeping and HR documentation

Knowledge of Nigeria employment law

Experience working in an INGO or nonprofit organization
