About the Role
NOXX Global is building a mobile platform designed to improve the safety and empowerment of Nigerian women. The product is aimed at addressing a critical need with the potential to reach over 100 million users.

This is a Co-Founder role, not just a developer position. The selected candidate will lead the technical development and architecture of the platform, working closely with the founder to build a scalable mobile solution capable of impacting millions of lives.

Required Skills

  • React Native or Flutter for mobile app development

  • Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions)

  • RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

  • Real-time features such as GPS tracking, live updates, and push notifications

  • Payment gateway integration (Paystack or Flutterwave)

  • Git/GitHub for version control

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in mobile app development

  • Portfolio showing at least 2 published mobile apps on the Play Store or App Store

  • Experience building apps optimized for the Nigerian market (low data usage and unstable network conditions)

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with location-based services

  • Familiarity with women’s safety or security-focused applications

  • Previous startup or early-stage product experience

  • Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging and SMS APIs

  • Strong UI/UX awareness

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all technical decisions, architecture, and product development

  • Build the MVP from scratch within a 4-month timeline

  • Implement core features such as real-time tracking, notifications, and payments

  • Optimize the application for Nigerian network conditions and device limitations

  • Set up development workflows, version control, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Recruit and lead a development team as the product scales
