About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale reliable backend systems and mobile experiences for a high-transaction fintech platform.

You will take ownership of core systems, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and drive high-quality technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Laravel (PHP)

  • Develop and maintain mobile features using React Native

  • Architect RESTful APIs and fintech integrations

  • Optimize performance using Redis, queues, caching, background jobs

  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable production-grade code

  • Conduct code reviews and mentor mid-level engineers

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams

  • Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

  • Strong production experience with Laravel (PHP)

  • Solid React Native experience in live applications

  • Strong backend architecture and API design knowledge

  • Experience with MySQL, Redis, Docker

  • Proficiency with Git workflows and code reviews

  • Experience with testing (PHPUnit/Pest, integration tests)

  • Strong documentation skills

  • Mentorship and ownership mindset

  • Comfortable working remotely

Desirable (Bonus)

  • Fintech, payments, or high-volume transaction systems

  • Experience with React, Python, or other technologies
