JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a creative and versatile Video Editor to transform our podcast into engaging, high-impact content across multiple platforms.

This is a remote, full-time position with ongoing work for the Back Your Chat podcast. If you understand storytelling, short-form engagement, and social media growth, this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Edit full-length podcast episodes

  • Create engaging short-form clips (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)

  • Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, and sound design

  • Design thumbnails, logos, and branding assets when required

  • Publish and manage content across platforms

  • Optimize titles, descriptions, tags, and hashtags

  • Track performance metrics and analyze video analytics

Requirements

  • Experience editing both long-form and short-form content

  • Strong graphic design skills (thumbnails, branding, logos)

  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Photoshop, Canva, or similar

  • Strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement

  • Organized, proactive, reliable, and confident in suggesting creative improvements
