Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Advanced Network Troubleshooter with deep expertise in hotel and hospitality network environments, particularly limited-service hotels.

This role is ideal for a technical professional who excels in complex, under-documented network environments and can confidently diagnose and resolve issues remotely across multiple vendor platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced remote troubleshooting in hotel network environments

  • Diagnose and resolve issues across:

    • Wired and wireless infrastructure

    • Guest, staff, and back-of-house networks

  • Support multi-vendor environments, including:

    • Aruba Networks

    • Ruckus Networks

    • ANTlabs Gateways

  • Analyze logs, packet captures, and live diagnostics

  • Identify root causes in unstable or degraded environments

  • Guide on-site hotel staff or vendors through remediation steps

  • Escalate to vendor support when necessary while maintaining ownership

  • Document findings, resolutions, and recommended improvements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting hospitality/hotel networks

  • Advanced knowledge of:

    • TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT

    • Wireless RF fundamentals and Wi-Fi performance troubleshooting

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot remotely with limited documentation

  • Experience in multi-vendor environments

  • Ability to work under pressure on production-impacting issues

  • Strong analytical mindset and independent decision-making ability

Preferred Experience

  • Direct experience with:

    • Aruba (APs, Switches, Gateways, Aruba Central)

    • Ruckus (SmartZone, Unleashed, APs, Switches)

    • ANTlabs Gateways

  • Hospitality systems integration (Guest Wi-Fi portals, PMS, POS, IPTV)

  • Bandwidth management and QoS in hotel environments


Certifications (Assets, Not Required)

  • Aruba Certifications (ACMA, ACMP, ACSP, ACX)

  • Ruckus Certifications (RCWA, RCWP, RCWS)

  • CWNA / CWSP / CWDP

  • CCNA or higher

  • Network+
